If you want an edge of the seat, pacy, page turning thriller — “Wheels of Kalachakra” is the book for you. It is very difficult to give a spoiler free review of this book but i will give it a try.

As the name suggests, the book deals with the Wheel of Time- Kalachakra. The tale starts of with a bang with an appearance of a young boy (who seems not just out of place in 21st century Pune but also out of time) in front of sub-inspector Raju Ghodake. The story follows Raju’s journey as he uncovers one mystery after another.

In my opinion, the book peaks around the 100 page mark with the Himalayan climb scene and plateaus well into a thrilling second half with twists along the way into a satisfying action packed finish.

All the above praise doesn't mean the book is faultless, eg sometimes things appear hurried and pacing seems too fast — for my taste but its fair to assume the same quality will be appreciated by readers who like more action instead of savoury picturization and characterisation.

A must read for all the lovers of action, adventure, mystery, fantasy.
